This project, designed by AAI International Architects, is situated in the core area of the Economic Development Zone in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.
Committed to achieving strict low-carbon targets, the development adopted a strategy of "passive design first, active technology optimisation". The goal was to create a zero-carbon conference centre and a near-zero-carbon headquarters office building, ultimately resulting in a green, low-carbon, low-energy-consumption smart park.
To meet the project's stringent "near-zero energy consumption" building requirements, LandVac Titanium Vacuum Insulating Glass (VIG) was selected as the core material for the building envelope.
Thanks to its outstanding heat transfer performance, the LandVac VIG, when combined with a high-performance aluminium alloy curtain wall system, significantly enhances the energy efficiency of the external envelope. This effectively reduced the energy consumption required for both heating and cooling.
This technical breakthrough allowed this project to successfully achieve its demanding near-zero-energy goals, setting a new benchmark for high-end green building and energy efficiency in China.
