LandVac Co-Authors New Technical Standard for Vacuum Glass in Buildings

Recently, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued Announcement No. 23 of 2026, officially approving 369 industry standards. Among them, the Technical Specification for Application of Vacuum Glass in Buildings (JC/T 60058—2026), co-authored by Luoyang LandVac Ti-VIG Co., Ltd. and led by the Building Materials Industry Information Research Institute, was officially approved and released. The standard will come into effect on April 1, 2027.

As a dedicated technical standard for the application of vacuum glass in buildings, the specification covers the full process from general requirements, terminology and materials to design, construction, quality inspection and acceptance. It applies to vacuum glass projects in newly built, expanded and renovated buildings.

The release of this standard provides, for the first time, a comprehensive industry-level technical framework covering the entire process from material selection and application to project acceptance. It is expected to contribute to more standardised market practices, improved product quality and continued technological advancement in the vacuum glass industry.
